When will be gbrowser released ???
Google was expected to release a browser since April 2004 and now we are not hearing about the browser any more in the news.The speculation about a Google browser actually dates back even further to July 2003,when bloggers first began posting theories.
The Whois record shows us that Google registered Gbrowser.com domain in 2004 April but after that we haven’t really heard about the browser. We don’t know if it is still in development or the idea itself is dropped.
Microsoft through its internet explorer gets a lot of traffic to msn website and its search engine and even with the increasing popularity of Firefox, IE maintains a huge share of the browser market. I think gbrowser is just the next logical thing to be released as it allows google to take a little bit of control on the internet traffic and chip away at the microsoft browser market’s share.
Google has this knack of releasing a product on April 1st of almost every year and i just hope they release their browser at least in 2008.
