Webapp Scalability Stories

Scalability is a desirable property of a system which indicates its ability to handle growing amounts of work in a graceful manner and it also very tough to build a scalable system to handle large amounts of data or traffic or both.

Thanks to Amit (Amit is a cofounder of SlideShare), there are few presentations on slideshare which are extremely useful. Each presentation depict the scalability story of big Web sites like Digg, Flickr, LiveJournal, FeedBurner, SixApart, Last.fm etc. You can view all the presentations here.
