In a corporate network if you print a document accidentally to a random printer it would be very difficult to identify the printer.
To know the printer name and the document that is printed we need to view the Print history in the Event viewer ( start > run > eventvwr ).
In Windows 7 the Print history is disabled by default. However you can enable it to capture all the future prints.
Follow the steps to enable the log.
1. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools\Event Viewer or start > run > eventvwr.
2. In the Event Viewer go to Application and Services>Microsoft>Windows>PrintService>Operational
3. Right click Operational and click Enable Log.
Once enabled you can view all the events related to Print here.
